Discount Plans

Milo Adventist Academy is committed to helping teenagers meet the financial obligations of Christian education. While some families have the financial resources to pay their students' bills in cash, many others need to take advantage of other means to meet their obligations. Sources of revenue fall into three categories: cash, earnings from the student's work program, and financial assistance. Listed below are the discount plans are available to some students.

Family Discount

Families having more than one student attending MAA at the same time will be given the following annual discount per student on tuition only.

Initial Payment Discount

Parents desiring to pay the initial payment of $1,960.00 for dormitory students or $1,250.00 for village students will receive the following discount if paid by July 15:

Yearly or Semester Advance Payment Discount

Parents desiring to pay the total yearly fee in advance will be granted a 4% discount.

Those desiring to pay half of the yearly fee in advance will receive a 3% discount.

First Time Applicants

Students applying to Milo for the first time may claim a MAA Early Bird Scholarship of $50. if they send their completed application, $25 application fee, and the Early Bird Scholarship form to MAA Admissions Dept. by May 31.

Remote Church Discount

Assistance of $500 per semester is available to students meeting these criteria:

    Age
  1. For assistance for the first semester, the student must be less than 16 years of age on September 15.
  2. For assistance for the second semester, the student must be less than 16 years of age on February 1.
  3. Membership
  4. Must be from a remote church, as listed by the North Pacific Union Conference. A remote church is defined as one located at least 25 miles from the nearest junior/senior academy; it is not determined by the distance from the student's home to Milo. A list of remote churches is available in the Milo Finance brochure(195.7 KB).
  5. Students attending from areas that have a ninth grade intermediate program are eligible for assistance if other criteria are met.
  6. Students must reside within the North Pacific Union Conference to be eligible.
